The Access Careers Centre search lets users quickly find e-learning content, tools, and custom pages from one place.
Search for content
To search, click the search bar in the top navigation and enter a keyword or phrase.
As you type, a preview of matching results appears, organised into the following categories.
E-Learning. Videos, articles, courses, hot tips, and other learning content available on your platform.
Tools. Platform tools available to you, such as our CV, interview and job search tools.
Other Pages. Custom pages published by your organisation.
Search results preview
The matching part of each result is highlighted in bold, making it easier to identify results related to your search term. Tools are shown with an icon to help you identify them at a glance.
Click the title of any result to open the item.
No matching results
If no results match your search, you will see the message "Oops, nothing matched your search. Try rewording it or use a more general term."
π€ Tip: To clear your search, click the X inside the search bar.
View more results
If a search returns more results than can be displayed, the View More option appears at the bottom of the window.
Click View More to open the full search results page and show all of the results for your search.
π€ Tip: If a category has a large number of results, you can scroll within the tab to load more results.
Results are organised into the tabs listed below and display the total number of results for each tab in brackets.
E-Learning. Shows matching learning content, including a thumbnail image, title, description and content type. For example, video, article, course, or hot tips.
Tools. Shows matching platform tools with their title and description.
Other Pages. Shows matching custom pages by title.
Click the tabs to switch between categories and click any result card to open that item.
Make custom pages searchable
By default, custom pages are not searchable because the search only matches page titles.
Administrators can choose which active custom pages they want to make searchable to their users from within the Custom Page Builder.
β οΈ Important: Review your custom page titles before making them searchable, as this is what users will see in search results.
To set a custom page as searchable, follow the steps below.
In Custom Page Builder, search for the relevant page.
Select the searchable column.
