With CV Coach, you can:

Import an existing CV

If you already have a CV, you can upload it and let CV Coach help improve it. The assistant reads your file, extracts the content into the editor, and helps you refine each section.

⚠️ Important: Supported formats are PDF and DOCX, up to 10MB.

To do this, follow the below steps.

  1. From the CV dashboard, click Create New CV.

  2. Enter a name for your CV, then select Import Existing CV.

  3. Upload your CV file, then click Create CV.

CV Coach page

The CV Coach page has two main areas:

  • AI assistant chat. Have a conversation with the AI coach to improve your CV.

  • CV preview. See a live preview of your CV that updates in real time as you make changes.

On mobile devices, you can switch between the AI assistant and the CV preview using the tabs at the top of the screen.

To improve your CV on mobile, type a message to the assistant and press Enter. The assistant reviews your CV section by section, asks questions, and suggests improvements, for example, prompting you for specific achievements in your work experience or offering ways to strengthen your personal profile. All changes are saved automatically as you work.

Your CV Progress

Your CV is scored against a set of quality checks based on industry best practices. These checks help ensure your CV performs well in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and meets the expectations of recruiters and hiring managers.

Your progress score appears at the top of the AI assistant panel. Select the progress bar to open a detailed breakdown.

The breakdown is organised into categories, shown in the table below. Each category has its own score, and you can expand it to view the individual checks and see which ones have passed or need attention.

📌 Note: Your score updates automatically each time the assistant makes changes to your CV.
